The False Promise
of MLM Top Earner!

On the beach with XanGo

Why I didn't fall for the misleading top earner website?

What about the MLM TOP EARNERS?
The important question for you should not be "what do the top earners make" but rather, "what will I make?"

But isn't the list helpful for picking a company?
It is only helpful in revealing the nature of a company’s compensation plan.  Is all the money going to the top, to a group of their top earners?  A good plan is when the money is within reach of the average person.  Because if a person can quickly get to a place where they can earn enough money to live on, then they will not drop out.

By the way, this is not only good for the average person, it is good for the big networker too.  If less people are dropping out you can actually build a residual income, an ongoing income, and you can retire, which is what the networking dream should offer.

A report on one of these famous binaries shows the following: "The top 1% of all distributors (1.47) received 60% of the entire commission payout.  The top 3% of the total received over 70% of the total commission payout.  The mean average payment to the bottom 99% was $6.21 a week, before the costs are deducted for product purchases, taxes and all other business expenses!"

I see at one of the “top earner” websites, a distributor in another company making $650,000 a month.

Yes, he is a close personal friend, whom I admire and love, who had been hurt deeply in another company.  And I am very happy for him and especially his family.  According to most online sources, he is the top networking earner in the world.  His online claims of income range from $650,000 a month to $800,000 a month.  He offered me a lot of money to join his company.  I decided it was unethical.

Let me give you an example of their top earners.  This is a true story.  The man you mentioned had a friend.  Together, they were top earners in another company.  They left together at the same time.  Now, the top earner is making $650,000 a month. But what about his friend?  What is the second man, directly under him making?

I don't know?

Well, guess.  He is directly under the top earner in the world and he told me he has 17,000 people in his downline.  What do you think he is earning?

Okay, i will tell you.  The last time we talked about income he told me, personally, that he was making $ 4,000 a month.

Welcome to MLM Top Earners.  And welcome to binaries.

And he offered me a lot of money to go with his company.  So I checked it out.  First, he is an owner of the company, as well as a distributor.  Keep that in mind.  Second, he is in a binary, where, in my opinion, the money goes to the top and the average person gets nothing.  I have a friend in the same company who told me that he has 4,000 people in his downline and is making no money at all.

So what does the average person in this company make?

We don't know because they won't tell us.  They only tell us the top earners.  We know from Newsweek magazine that only 1% of their sales force earn commissionable income.  That is a staggering number.

And yet they have many top earners on those lists and that attracts people.

Yes it does.  And we had a couple of names of XanGo people placed on some of those lists and they ordered them removed..  XanGo, NuSkin and most of the other companies, the ones that I would describe as more ethical, do not reveal their distributor's incomes.   Do you want your company to publicly post your income without your permission?  Isn't this YOUR business?

So you question the value of the “top earners” websites?
Well, most of such sites are fake, shills for companies promoting their own people.  And, in my opinion, none of the more private and ethical companies are really represented.  For example, one of the biggest sites listed Ken Pontious of Enrich at $250,000 a month.  In fact, he earned $500,000 a month.  I knew Ken.  And I know the man who was president when he was a top earner.  Ken was a wonderful and generous man.  The real problem with him on this list is that he has been dead for 13 years.  So if you are basing your networking decisions on information from such sites,  you are taking a big risk.

Again, the question for me was not, who is the number one, top earner, in the world?  But what will the average person earn?  And that can only be answered by PAYOUT.  What share of sales money is the company actually giving back to its people?

Sherman Unkefer, XanGo 500k

Sherman Unkefer
Sherman Unkefer is listed on MLM top earner website as making $350,000 a month. He says the site is false but he won't say which way. Large numbers of XanGo and NuSkin top earners are excluded from the site.
